Because we have learned that money doesn’t matter - character does. The process of building a business and the woman it pushes you to become - that is the biggest payoff. And it is possible - we have seen many women do it already.
It wasn’t always this way, though. The first year women in the US could apply for a business loan without her husband or father’s signature was 1984. Less than 20% of women in business ever make 6 figures. Currently, 2% of women in business ever make 1 million dollars.
The conversation we want to have here isn’t just about how far women in business before us have come to make our reality possible.
It’s about where we are going, together.
